We will sadly closing down Rathgar Rugby Club 

Hello fellow parents/ guardians / kids / fellow readers

We have some unfortunate news, sadly we are  being forced to shutdown as our junior rugby teams (5- 7 & 7-9)  have been caught in a serious doping sandal and we now are being brought to court and sued.  There is nothing we can do now it has been an honour teaching and playing with everyone. Goodbye and good luck to everyone.

We lost our beloved fly-half Sam Mywiener 

Our beloved fly-half Sam Mywiener due to a tragic ear infection. He was transferred to the ICU in James hospital. Tragically his wounds were wrongly diagnosed by Dr Ninan and they amputated his leg and then forgot to sew it back up causing him, to die of blood loss. The funeral is this Saturday in Rathgar cemetery at 9 a.m. The cremation ceremony will occur at 12.  

Thank you for all your words of support. We will continue training from next week.

we won our first club rugby cup

After hundreds of hours training our senior cup rugby team won the Leinster league cup for club rugby. We played Terenure  rugby club in the final and barely beat them 12-14, with Natty Kaye scoring the winning the drop goal in the 83rd minute.

Rathgar Redhot rugby team

Welcome to the Rathgar Redhot rugby clubs website. We train on a Monday, Tuesday, and Friday in Belgrave Square. we have a professional coach called Mr Chicken legs who handles the 5-18 yr olds. Training is from 7-9pm.  We are a gender natural club so both boys and girls play together.
